Terms
Website Terms
These terms govern use of the website and the enquiry-introduction service; a provider's separate quote and terms govern the actual work.
- 1
Website purpose
The website provides general information about concrete cutting, drilling, scanning and removal and may facilitate introductions between callers and independent service providers.
Content is educational and does not approve a structural alteration, locate every service, provide engineering advice or create a binding quote.
- 2
Independent providers
A provider introduced through the service is independent. The provider decides whether to accept an enquiry and is responsible for its own representations, qualifications, licences where applicable, insurance, personnel, methods, safety, scope, price, terms, workmanship and invoicing.
A provider rating checked at matching belongs to that provider. It is not a rating, warranty or endorsement owned by the website.
- 3
Quotes and the customer-provider contract
Any quote, site assessment, booking, variation, warranty or contract for concrete work is between the customer and the provider. Review the provider's identity, scope, exclusions, GST treatment, payment terms and credentials relevant to the job before accepting.
The website does not guarantee that a provider will be available, accept the work, maintain a particular rating or achieve a particular result.
- 4
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information you are authorised to share. Obtain property, strata, landlord, principal-contractor, asset-owner, engineering or other approvals required for the work.
Do not direct cutting through an unapproved structural element or known service. Tell the provider about hazards, access limits, occupants, restricted hours and relevant site rules.
- 5
Acceptable website use
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful material or use content in a misleading way. Links to third-party websites are provided for context and do not place those services under the website operator's control.
- 6
Information and availability
Reasonable care is taken with website content, but site conditions, methods, laws, platform behaviour and provider availability can change. Verify information that is material to a safety, structural, legal or commercial decision.
The website may be changed, suspended or unavailable without continuous notice.
- 7
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, liability connected with website use or an introduction is limited according to the applicable circumstances and does not replace the independent provider's responsibility for its contract and work.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
